ShowHiddenFiles (was ChangeVisibility) enables you to change the visibility flag for files in all versions of OS X. It's easy to use, with a simple GUI. Much easier than using Terminal if you have to change file and folder visibility frequently. This is different from showing hidden files in that it will make selected files and folders visible even when Hidden files are not being shown.

Version 2.0.0:

The previous Change Visibility program is now deprecated with the recent release of Show Hidden Files. Features from the two apps have been merged into one new, clean app.

• First major revision: Updated Versioning Numbers to comply with App Store Standards.
• New GUI
• Combined the features from our Change Visibility tool (which is now deprecated)
• Application no longer self-closes. Stays open for multiple changes
• Drag and drop feature added so that multiple files / folders can have their visibility changed at once
• Option to Make Visible or Make Hidden added. Previously the program would simply toggle between the current state and the opposite state
