iCab 4.8

iCab is an alternative web browser. It supports HTML 4, image filtering, cookie filtering, bookmarks, java and javascript support, search modes, importing of web archives from Explorer, download manager, and numerous useful features not found in other browsers. Features include:

iCab is shareware and costs for $25/20 EUR, but it can be also used for free with a small limitation.

WHAT'S NEW

Version 4.8:

• The German built-in help improved (thanks to Ronny Klang)
  
• In the experimental settings there\'s a new option for the kiosk mode: It\'s now possible to allow downloads to USB sticks and also to extract ZIP archives after the download automatically.
  
• SVG images are now treated just like ordinary images when no SVG plugin is installed. This way the image zoom does also work for
  SVG.
  
• The JavaScript feature \'localStorage\' is now supported.
