EyeTV 3.4.1

EyeTV products lets you watch, record, edit, timeshift and archive TV on your Mac. With solutions for analog and digital television, and video quality options to meet differing customer needs, Elgato has an EyeTV to fit your Mac.

Improved stability and performance.
Fixed a problem where the ATSC or DVB guide would not update when selected from the contextual menu.
Fixed crash when opening multiplex.
Fixed various cosmetic issues with channel numbers.
A ‘Watch’ button has been added to the Details video of the Program Guide.
The Menu bar no longer appears when EyeTV is launched in full screen mode.
Fixed missing icons in the Program Details overlay
Fixed a problem that caused the player window to close when using the overlay menu to tune to Live TV after recordings.
Fixed a problem with the EyeTV MPEG Component that caused HDV
imports to crash in QuickTime, Final Cut Pro and iMovie.
HE-AAC playback support has been added for improved audio quality in certain countries, e.g. Denmark.

EyeTV HD: Fixed a crash unplugging the device at just the right time after it is detected.
EyeTV HD: Good/Better/Best video bit rates for 1080i are now 6/10/13 Mbps.
EyeTV HD: Fixed the infrared blaster delay slider so it saves correctly to the preferences
EyeTV HD: Default capture settings are set to iPad + iPhone.
EyeTV Hybrid: Fixed a problem where the device would not auto-tune or change channels correctly on the new 2010 Mac Mini.
EyeTV Sat: Improved infrared remote support.
TerraTec H7: Improved channel change times.
Fixed a problem where Audio only exports were added to iTunes as a TV Show
Fix an issue that caused exports to be cropped incorrectly.
Improved Live3G support on Safari 5 and iOS 4.
Improved streaming performance to the iPhone/iPad
Fixed a problem that caused analog TV to stream black video when the player window was closed.
If this is the first time you have launched any version of EyeTV 3, you will be asked to enter the EyeTV 3 activation key. If you purchased an EyeTV 3
Upgrade product, EyeTV 3 will check whether an EyeTV 2 installation is present on your hard drive. If EyeTV 3 cannot find a previous EyeTV 2 installation, it will ask you to enter an eligible EyeTV 2 activation key as well.
Keep all EyeTV activation keys in a safe place, in case you need to reinstall the EyeTV software. Your activation key is also used to activate and identify your Electronic Program Guide account (see below).
After you activate EyeTV, the EyeTV Setup Assistant will guide you through the complete setup and configuration of EyeTV 3. You should complete each step of the EyeTV Setup Assistant. When prompted, please select your country and let EyeTV auto-tune for channels — this is necessary to ensure the correct initial setup of the built-in Electronic Programming Guide (EPG).
EyeTV 3.4.1 is a universal application, which works on both Power PC and Intel Macs. An Intel Mac is required for streaming to the iPhone app.
Note that this is the last version which will support PowerPC. All future updates will require an Intel Mac.
EyeTV 3.4 will work with OS 10.5.8 or better. However, we recommend Mac OS X 10.6.4 or later with all software and security updates installed.
