iPhoto Buddy 1.3.4 - Use multiple photo libraries with iPhoto. (Free): "

iPhoto Buddy 1.3.4
iPhoto Buddy is a small Universal Mac OS X application that allows you to use more than one photo Library with Apple\'s iPhoto as well as with its companion programs, iMovie and iDVD. The advantages of splitting your One Huge Photo Library into multiple, smaller ones include improved iPhoto performance, increased flexibility in organizing your digital photo collection, and a consistency with most other Mac applications that allow their respective data to be store in as many files (documents) as you like.

iPhoto Buddy uses a simple, streamlined interface that was inspired by iPhoto itself. Anyone that has used iPhoto will immediately feel right at home using iPhoto Buddy. It truly is a companion application--a real buddy!

WHAT'S NEW
Version 1.3.4:
  • Introducing Library Launchers – Desktop icons that act like aliases for your Libraries. Simply double click a Library Launcher icon in the Finder to instantly open a specific Library.

  • Buddy’s Thumbnail Images are now optionally displayed in iPhoto Buddy Menu. The Thumbnail size is user-adjustable.

  • Entries in Buddy’s Library List can now be quickly re-linked to Libraries that have been moved from one drive (volume) to another. It is no longer necessary to delete and recreate the entry.

  • Corrected an issue that prevented random Thumbnail creation with Libraries created by iPhoto 8.x and later.

  • Corrected an issue in iPB Menu which could cause un-mounted network volumes to be repeatedly re-mounted without user input.

  • Miscellaneous performance and stability improvements.

REQUIREMENTS
Mac OS X 10.2.4 or later, iPhoto 2.0 or later. Optional: iMovie 3.0 or later, iDVD 3.0 or later, iWeb 1.0 or later.
